Do you like samurai and movies? When they mix, they can remind what people have lost or forgot today. The first movie review for people who are from Western background and are new to the way of samurai. The movie is called ‘Ghost Dog (1999)’.
This movie’s main character, Ghost Dog, is played by Forest Whitaker. The code of samurai that is followed by a modern assassin that uses birds to communicate with assignment. Sounds pretty to many of those are addicted to social apps on smart phones nowadays, isn’t it. The Ghost Dog sees himself as a samurai. He is inspired and follows the code and the way of samurai from a Japanese book, Hagakure (葉隠). I like the atmosphere the movie it creates and you should focus on the way he lived rather than mimicking at the movie edited non-gun techniques. Here is the trailer:
