How Do Okinawan Greet to Their Customers?

When you travel to Okinawa for the first time passing through airport and shops, you will hear ‘Haisai menso-re (はいさい、めんそーれ)’ or ‘Haitai menso-re (はいたい、めんそーれ)’.

What do they mean in English?

Hello, welcome. (For male to say when customers enters the shop.)

Hello, welcome. (For female to say when customers enters the shop.)

So if you hear the above while hanging around in Okinawa, you know what they are saying.
